Process

Research

Each project launch begins with getting to know you and your family, your style & personal taste and your needs. We’ll talk about your lifestyle, explore what your goals are for your space, and examine what is or isn’t working for you in your present home. This step will include taking measurements and photos, along with discussing your budget and timeline. Every client will have their own unique requirements and these first meetings will define them.

Concepts & Schemes

After we have identified your goals for your space, we will create a mood board to explore ideas. This phase welcomes your contributions of inspiration that you’ve been saving; we will work together to select the elements of a design concept that resonates with your personal vision. It’s a comprehensive process that can include furniture, architectural details, colors, fabrics, and lighting. You’ll be presented with initial ideas on colors, textures, and concept as part of the process of defining your preferences.

Design Development

Your project now begins to come to life with a presentation of initial sketches, floor plans, and elevations. You’ll be consulted throughout for your input on finishes, materials, furniture, and plans. We will cover all the necessary components of your project: the intricate challenges of structure and code are simply part of the total scope of services that we provide. At the completion of this step, you’ll be presented with a detailed design plan that will include drawings, renderings, textiles, wallcoverings, flooring samples, and more.

Procurement

Once we receive approval on the final design, will we begin the ordering process for selections and custom pieces. CBI manage all aspects of the ordering process: sourcing, handling special orders, and taking care of deliveries. Throughout this step, we will keep you updated on the status of your items.

Installation

Once all items have been received at the warehouse, we will schedule and manage your installation. The install may take a day or more depending on the size and scope of your project. Our team handles all the details: coordinating the installation of furnishings, window treatments, lighting and decor. We take time to carefully curate the space, bringing life to the design.
