The May issue of Better Homes and Gardens caught my eye while perusing the isles of Walgreens, like a gal does. This issue was definitely coming home with me! The talented design firm responsible for this fabulous home is Cloth & Kind. They are an all female design team led by principals, Krista Nye Nicholas and Tami Ramsey. I love the sophisticated use of color which was beautifully balanced throughout. This, mixed with modern and traditional furnishings made for a truly eclectic but elegant home. Today, neutrals tend to reign supreme in the design world. So I was happy to see that these ladies were not afraid to go big with bold color. At the end of the day, no matter what the design trends are, stay true to what you love and if that’s color, then go for it!
